Arghhhh Frustration Station
I'm in Bangkok Airport right now, I cannot stand the place!
So I'm damn lucky that my mom bumped me up to Business Class (traveling with my lil sis Avia) since my knees and back are in serious pain (I forgot to bring my knee, feet and back braces opps have to take the pain). I'm currently sitting in the Cathay Business Lounge in Bangkok its lovely and comfortable, however, upon arriving I had to get our connecting flights tickets sorted which for some reason three different ground staff gave me completely different directions. My sister has a couple of blisters on both feet, heavy bag on her back (why?????) and a trolly (why?????) so, I'm carrying my laptop on my back and a sports bag filled with breakable gifts and now with my knees and back in AGONY I'm carrying my lil'sisters things too coz I just cant bare hearing 'iiiiiiifffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhht iiiiiiiiiffffffaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhht i'm in pain i cant this or that' meanwhile ground staff directing me in to the immigration instead of TRANSFER and back and forth. Finally I found my destination, g-d loves me after all I thought, fixed our tickets and asked for the Cathay Business Lounge. Hmmmm 'Mamm up the escalator and left' so we do that and we find our selves walking for 20mins, no lounge and again ask information 'mamm straight ahead and left' two other INFORMATION OFFICERS tell us the same thing, until I turn round and walk back and another officer says 'mamm straight ahead and left' - this is strange i thought to myself considering that i'm now walking in the opposite direction, its still straight ahead and left???!!!! F**K it I thought i'll keep to the suggestion of walking straight ahead and left. We see Cathay First Class Lounge, my sister embaressed by me complaining tries to calm me down. Only failing to realise we have been walking around for 45mins finding no lounge and I have 4 heavy bags two of which are hers and very un-necessary. The Cathay people advise us that the business lounge is hiding behind all the duty free near the men/ladies toilet! How unimpressive for Cathay. But lord behold we found the lounge - told the staff my story of how it wasnt their fault but they should put a larger sign near the main walk way of the airport with percise directions. Unimpressed!
So, now I gotta board the flight back home it leaves in 40mins lugging my sisters two bags, with the tickets, passports and probably wont find the gate if i leave it up to the directions provided by ground staff.
Thats all for now, cant wait to go home and, I miss me SteM@n cant wait to see him! oh and sleep in my bed :)
